Wieliczka Salt Mine Tour  

Visit Wieliczka Salt Mine with us where you will find amazing world of underground corridors, chambers and chapels full of wonderful sculptures made of salt. The mine is inscribed to UNESCO's World's heritage list and is one of the places most visited in Poland.

It's a guided tour upon which you visit 20 chambers connected by 2 km of corridors on three levels underground. 380 steps lead down the stairs to the first level (64 m below, approx. 210 ft) and the lift will take you up from the lowest level (135 m, 440 ft) in the end of the tour. The temperature underground is always 14 Celsius degrees, the air is cool and belived to have a positive impact on health.

The tourist route leads through the underground chapels, caverns and caves where you can admire sculptures and chandeliers made from the salt crystals.. The greatest of the underground chapel is that of St. Kinga where magnificient chandeliers and sculptures made of grey salt are exhibited. On the third level there is found a thematic park with a very interesting collection of old mining equipment and mineral craft collections. Two-hours excursion gives only a glipms of the whole labyrinth hidden undrground.
