Ojcow National Park Tour

Ojcowski's National Park is located just 16 kilometers north of Krakow in Krakow-Czestochowa Upland. There is a well-preserved Renaissance castle in Pieskowa Skala and the ruins of the Gothic castle in Ojcow - Nature Park famous for its unique limestone's hills.

The castle in Pieskowa Skala is one of the most beautiful knight castles in Poland. Interiors of the castle exhibit a collection of furniture and paintings deriving from the Middle Ages up to the nineteenth century.

Castle in Ojcow, in contrast to Pieskowa Skala, remained only as picturesque ruin a tower, part of the defending walls, a bridge and an entrance gate.

But Ojcow is also famous for its nature – the nearby national park opens Jurassic caves (abou 210) and limestone rock formations, with the easily recognized called 'Hercule's Club' Among the caves, Lokietek's Cave is the most impressive – it is about 270 meters long and its individual parts have their own names - Knight's Hall, Kitchen, Bedroom. These rooms are connected by spacious corridors which makes it easy to access by visitors.
