The exhibition in the family house of Pope John Paul II at 7 Koscielna Street illustrates and commemorates his life and work in Poland, until he left it for good.
Also there is Basilica where Karol Wojtyla was baptized and made his First Holy Communion. The interior impresses with the high altar with the image of the patron of the church – Virgin Mary with Child, adorned with a silver coat.
Excursion to Wadowice is also a great opportunity to get familiar with the atmosphere of a small town and to try out favorite Pope’s pastry – delicious ‘kremowka’ with double- cream or custard-like filling.
